Eating out

Eating out with the kids, drinking with the mates, or a chic restaurant with your other half?

There is something for everyone in the area. Just ask the manager and you will receive personalised advice suited to your needs.

Cycling and walking

Walking and cycling are also definite possibilities in our area. Several walks and cycling routes have been mapped out. These routes include walking/cycling along the canal, through the Lintbos woods, the Prinsenbos woods and along many quiet country roads. Maps and leaflets are available at the campsite’s reception office.

Junction maps can be downloaded or are available in the Standaard Boekhandel bookshop, or at the municipal tourist office.

The Four Villages Route (39 km), the canal route (47 km), the parks and gardens route (46 km) and the 3 loops of the Eddy Merckx route are available at the reception office.

Meise Botanic Garden

The National Botanic Garden in Meise is also worth a visit.

Mini Europe

A stone’s throw from the campsite, just below the Atomium, is Mini Europe. This attraction is definitely worth a visit. It can be visited daily from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Tickets can be booked in advance.

Visit to Brussels

The European Capital is just a stone’s throw from our village. Every hour a bus passes by the campsite, which then takes you to Brusselse Noordstation (Brussels-North train station), which is within walking distance of the centre (Grote Markt). This bus does not run during the morning on Sundays and public holidays.

An alternative is leaving from Grimbergen station, which is 2.5 km from the campsite.

The bus number from the campsite is R31, from the bus station it is also number R31. More information about these bus lines can be found on www.delijn.be
